Award Winners - 2006

We Did It Again! 

 Every year, the students at the Howard Academy enter the Wisconsin Jeweler's Association Student Design Competition and we always win something. This year we won:

  • Best of Show - Pair of Earrings by Sarah DeAngelo
  • First Place Rings - Ring by Ethan Echola
  • First Place Bracelets - Bracelet by Sara Crook
  • First Place Pendants, Enhancers & Brooches - Pendant by Ethan Echola
  • First Place Other - Bible Cover by David Fritsch

There were a number of winners in the Professional Division including:

  • First Place Bracelets -Dmitriy Pavlov of DP Studio, and Instructor here at the Academy and Honorable Mention Pendants, Enhancers & Brooches category - Dmitriy Pavlov of DP Studio.
  • First Place Earrings - Jackie Goetz of the Jewelers Workshop and former student here, and Honorable Mention  Earrings - Jackie Goetz of the Jewelers Workshop.
  • Best of Show - Sharon Choisser of Goodman's Jewelers and former apprentice of Bill's before he started the Howard Academy.

We are really proud of our winners and know we'll see more of their work highlighted again!
