Diplomas for successful completion of a course will be awarded to those students who satisfactorily complete all of the assigned projects.
No general letters of reference or recommendation will be given to students other than their diploma. We do not offer a job placement service.
References to prospective employers will be based only on the quality and craftsmanship of the projects completed and the time taken to complete them. No personal opinions of a student's character or personality will be given.
Grading is based solely on whether or not a student completes the assigned projects satisfactorily. Work habits, use of time, craftsmanship, quality of finish, and effective use of techniques will be noted but only for progress evaluation and future references to employers. They do not affect the student's grades. If a student's projects always fail, we may advise them to withdraw from the school.
Permission will be required before we will give out references to prospective employers regarding a student's ability, work habits, efficiency, craftsmanship, or completion. A student can give us permission in writing before they leave, by mail, or by telephone when the occasion requires it. Student records are stored indefinitely.
