Page 1 of 13  The Erickson Building 188 through 194 West Main Street, Stoughton, Wisconsin, is a three story, brick building which has been beautifully restored but is equipped with modern mechanical systems and wiring. Built in 1905, it is a landmark known as the "Erickson" building and is listed on the National Register of Historic places by the United States Department of the interior. The 9,500 square foot facility was originally used as a mercantile building housing store offices but has also housed a Turkish bath, a speakeasy, an armory, and dental offices.If you are in the Stoughton area the Howard Academy of the Metal Arts is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In the meantime, let us take you on a virtual tour of the Howard Academy of the Metal Arts.
