Chasing and Repoussé

Workshops are $150.00 a day

 

Description:

Basic and intermediate chasing and repousse 1, 2, 3 and 4 day workshops are being offered. Students will learn the ancient art of metal ornamentation.

 

Required Materials:Students must bring safety glasses, ear plugs and leather gloves. Students will also need a chasing hammer, rawhide mallet and a 20 piece set of chasing chisels. Tools may be purchased before the class through H.A.M.A. A limited number of tools may be available for purchase the day of the seminar.

If you are interested in taking the hollow forming or chasing and repousse seminars but are equipment shy in this metal art world, let us know and for an extra $25.00 a day, we'll provide our tools for you to use, so you don't have to worry about the extra expense for right now!
