Tool Policy and Checklist

We require that all students have the necessary personal hand tools to complete the course projects. A check list of these tools is provided. The tools should be purchased as far in advance of the class starting date as possible. Suppliers' inventories tend to be unpredictable and delivery times usually exceed those stated in their catalogs. Back orders are more the rule than the exception.

Our policy on expendable materials is the same as our tool policy. A list of required expendable materials is included following the tool list. The ordering procedure for these items is the same as for the tools. The required items are carried by several of the listed suppliers.
